Might not be a popular opinion here, but I would argue that partisan hatred really isn't that deep. There are plenty of Americans who disagree with Trump, but most of them still ultimately root for the country.
Over the last ~5 years, Trump has continually humiliated the media and entertainment industry, who previously saw themselves as our rightful and unquestionable rulers. When people from those industries make deranged comments about how they want our economy to fail or make disrespectful comments about our servicemen because of their hatred for one man, they're accidentally waking people up.
The left sure seems to love using the argument from authority to persuade conservatives.
"Drumph is finish cuz Fox News says Americans want impeachment!" "Drumph is finish cuz the magazine founded by Billy Graham wants to get rid of him! (just don't look up anything the man himself has said about him)"
Haven't heard his jokes, so I can't say what I think of them. Much like with Dave Chappelle, I don't know much about the guy, but I'm glad to see that there are people in the entertainment industry who aren't afraid of the "woke" mob.
From the article, it looks like he is a repeat offender who stole the flag. He's also being charged with reckless use of fire (which may or may not be true). The number of years appear to be added because of its status as a "hate crime".
I don't necessarily agree with the number of years given, but the title is clear clickbait used to make it look like someone burned their own flag on their own property.
The idea of pranking the country by helping DJT become President became less funny when he actually became one of the greatest leaders in our history.
