As I recall it was because the Prosecution is required to provide all evidence they want to use at trial well in advance so Defense can prepare. The information the Prosecution wanted to introduce wasn't given to Defense until almost 5:00 PM yesterday. For some reason the County Coroner did not provide the C0 data with their initial report and finally did so at the request of a Prosecution Doctor who was spurred to make the request based on testimony from Pathologist yesterday. Also Pathologist who testified yesterday and would likely have to be recalled was on a plane and wasn't available to testify on new evidence. Judge felt late introduction would prejudice jury and disallowed it. Prosecution witness was not allowed to discuss report.
Still trying to figure out when positive test results became "cases", inferring that people had become ill? Guessing most folks that were tested wont be going back for round 2 of the brain tickler swabbing unless they have to and now that a potential booty swabbing is on the table watch "cases" go through the floor.
