I think looking at Auschwitz and "gas chambers" with an open mind is the best thing. We are lead to believe people about to lose their lives were marched outside the majority of walls / enclosed area and they happily went along without a fight. We are not talking about work camps (birkenau was a completely different thing). It really pays to visit these places, understand what people are saying and make your own judgement.
What i'm basically saying here is just because the meme / tweet seems to align with what you believe right now do not take it as factual, you'll be mislead and have warped views (even though they might be correct) as a result of it.
If that type of attitude continues people will become those they hate. The fact is if biden gets sworn in he is the president. That doesn't mean we stop the aims and progress of the last term, but we don't become those we laugh at and show disdain to.
The lefts tactics are working and the rights arent. We dont need to abandon our morals / personal choices, but we can start going for small victories and push backs. The left do this constantly and get good results (for them).
It looks interesting, but reading synopsis he expresses "harm" in a way I'd disagree with. Morality, for me, is something hard to quantify as I believe morality is a personal thing. The left believe what they are doing is morally right, because its based on their belief system. Will check out further when I get the chance.
All censorship is bad, giving people ( a person) the option/right of blocking something they don't agree with is good.
That's really not the way.
It should hinge on the protections of section 230.
If you want to use those protections you can only remove unlawful speech. If you dont want to invoke those protections you can do as you like.
Its the bait and switch.
You are exactly right with the authoritarian left. From what I've seen most people here think about right and left and forget about the up and down.
Up/down = governmental control right/left = economic or personal responsibility.
As above totalitarianists would be better.
Unfortunately a lot of people who are center would consider themselves liberal with some socialist views (the support nets). What they dont realise is they are probably considered right, if not far right, by dems.
To me this shows how far removed people are from real violence. Although soccer aint popular here I grew up going to games in the 90s. I saw more violence in my first away game than anything that happened during the 6th.
It's the reason people think everything is violence now.
In addition to the above look into the symbolism of what happened and understand the reasons why "facts" were presented in the way they were.
