^. Social and Environmental Impact Some ethical violations aren’t immediately obvious but gradually cause damage to the community. For example, companies that use unethical business practices to squeeze out their competitors could shut down businesses in the community and threaten the economy and people’s livelihoods. If companies don’t assess the environmental footprint they leave behind, they could cause irreparable ecological damage that also may threaten the health and safety of residents in the community.

Between allowing cancelling and doxxing to occur unfettered, along with creating echo chambers that led to dangerous riots throughout the past year or two. I think Reddit could be thrown into this as well.

Something I can't get off my mind.

The whole COVID thing left people a lot of time alone and to dig into/through deep conspiracist holes. Echo chambers are a bad thing, we all know that, and without real social interaction they can amplify inside of someone's own mind.

Would things be as toxic in the political climate right now if it weren't for social isolation, masks (in that they hide faces and being personable with eachother in public), and isolation orders? As toxic as they were even a year ago, it wasn't this bad.

"Canadian lawmakers unanimously passed a motion in Parliament last week urging the federal government to “immediately” designate the Proud Boys as a terrorist entity, but the move was nonbinding and was met with a backlash from some anti-hate groups and national security analysts."

Am I reading too much into this? Not trying to conspiracize, or anything..... but, yeah.....

Might get downvoted to Hell for this, but here we go.

What are thoughts on putting a temporary moratorium on rule #1? Of course, All discussion must be civil, no comments that scream "FASCIST!!!!!" etc., etc., etc..

Hear me out.

We're protesting censorship on major commercial platforms. Since Twitter won't let us have that, we should bring that here. We can start to show left-wing media viewers the light through the civil discussion that we want to have on those big social media platforms, but can't due to suppression. Allowing for civil, back and forth discussion, would not be a bad thing.

There'd have to be some way to crackdown on, and monitor, vote-brigading. What that way is, who knows.

The way to push this could be a splash screen that shows up on each first visit announcing the temporary moratorium on the rule to all site viewers. The text could be asking the viewers to ask us anything, and state that as a show of wanting peace and unity, full debate can happen on the platform.

Of course, rule 1 should be re-instated at some point, because we are supposed to be a HIGH ENERGY TRUMP RALLY. But, by the same token, we can use this opportunity to dispel a lot of the myths and fears surrounding not only Trump supporters, but the entirety of right-wing politics. Let's use this opportunity to fight left-wing radicalization that was unknowingly just given to us by those who seek to radicalize the left-wing.

It's radicalizing people with the imtent to destroy us from within. Get out and don't look back. Fucking run.

Imagine if Trump still had a Twitter, and followed it up with:

"Sorry Nancy, but I'm already happily married! #PelosiLovesTrump" and tagged both her and Melania.

I hate this law, but maybe we can use the left's own weapon against them.

The doxxer is based in Austria according to their website and Twitter feed.

Austria is in the European Union and is subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). What they are doing, or rather attempting to do, is 110% illegal under the GDPR.

The Austrian Data Protection Agency can be reached at the following URL: https://www.data-protection-authority.gv.at/siteinfo/contact.html

While they're likely covering their tracks, and while it's impossible to get the information erased from the internet once it's put out there, we can at least try getting some kinda LE action against them (no matter how un/successful it may be).

Brownie points to the browsing FBI agent if s/he pursues this as well.
