CDC updated their guideline from 14 down to 10 days back in July for waiting for symptoms to appear.
Eg. Everyone who isolated for the original 15 days and had no symptoms could have just resumed normal life. We could and should have just pushed play on normal life and taken better care to wash our hands. No masks, no bs.
Even better, at least 40-60% of the population already has t-cells that are cross reactive to covid19. This is why you can have the couple on a cruz ship sharing the same cabin and toilet and food — one would get it and the other would not.
If you already regularly get mild colds you are probably immune to some degree and the virus wont stand a chance
