This virus is spread via fecal matter. Hospitals and nursing homes have patients that have zero bowel control. The main areas of spread outside these two areas have been among peoples that are stereotypically less hygienic.
This is a huge reason why wearing a mask is Absolutely Pointless. Even if masks prevented the virus from transmitting, which we know it doesnt, they also don't do a thing from preventing it from spreading on peoples hands via fecal matter
Eg if your bartender or server doesnt wash his hands he spreads that fecal matter to all the customers.
Eg. If your church choir member doesnt wash their hands and then touches the brownies brought to share with everyone, it isnt the singing that spread it, it was their poor handwashing spreading the disease via fecal matter.
