'Member when they had more than two people, and they'd all sit together at a big table?
I find it hilarious that they now do a weird split screen between two people (don't they live together?! wtf?!) and no one else is around anymore because even the craziest of the crazies can't stand those assholes.
It doesn't work. Just FYI. Not trying to be a dick, but there is no proof a citizen could possibly come up with that would sway people who have already been informed that your evidence isn't enough.
The one thing I've had any luck with is asking why it's up to me, a random private citizen, to provide proof of fraud in an election, and not up to the government to prove that an election was legitimate. For instance, imagine demanding that a random Soviet citizen prove that Stalin wasn't legitimately elected, rather than demanding that the USSR prove fair and transparent elections.
(Worse: this is literally what happened in the USSR, down to the "small" errors here and there, seemingly unconnected, while they ignored it or downplayed it nationally, demanding "proof" from random people that there was in fact a problem. Here in the US, we took that to mean the obvious: they were cheating, and thus not a legitimate government. We've come a long way since then, I guess.)
This one seems to shake people, but if we're being honest they still don't care and usually just brush it off with a "teehee, but at least drumpf lost!" From other comments, it seems you have a hard time believing how many of your fellow citizens are Soviets now. I'm really, really sorry. It brings me to tears, but there it is. Your life will be better if you acknowledge and move forward with this info.
... lol Literally from Snowden himself. According to Snowden, the CIA hired him after he dropped out of high school from a job fair.
They don't repeat this part much, because it sounds so fucking stupid.
Then he was just so "moral" that he tried to blow the whistle (on a really tame incident, by CIA standards) and failed, thus completely bungling an overseas mission and outing the whole project. But it was fine; this type of thing apparently has no bearing on any future security clearances, so he flipped right over and got a job at the NSA.
They also neglect to mention this part, because, again, it just sounds so fucking stupid.
This is all such public knowledge that it's available on his (very sanitized) Wiki page.
I certainly don't take the comment that way, but I love you for using the word churlish. You're my new internet fren, no backsies.
You hit the nail on the head, but to flesh out the point: because he's no longer even a half-assed "journalist," he's attracting exactly the crowd you describe.
Did you know he was the only one on the ground at the Ferguson riots? The rest of the reporters all stood several blocks away and told everyone everything was fine; you know it wasn't because of Tim Pool, though his name often gets left out. Same for the racial segregation at Occupy Wall Street. At the time, he was ardently pro gun control, but no one cared because we were watching for his reporting. Hell--he wasn't even on Youtube for most of this!
Editorialists live and die by their opinions. Especially independent ones. The harder he goes into that world, the more danger he is in of people that follow that type of creator turning because they don't like one of his opinions. That's why there are suddenly "expectations" that aren't being met and people getting mad. It's why he was able to have such a weird mixed bag of opinions for so long with little problem, yet suddenly it's becoming an issue.
So, at least for me personally and probably many here, it's not so much disappointment in one person for not meeting our "expectations" as sadness at the loss of one of our best journalist and the birth of yet another goddamn editorialist.
Ah yes, the classic socialist left: they love their guys, right up until they actually take power and do the things the left wants them to do. Then, suddenly, they're "neoliberal scum and we've always been at war with them."
Wouldn't want to be called "bootlickers" by your totally sane and totally loyal fans, amiright?
I could list people this happened to for days: Pelosi, Obama, Clinton, Sanders, and now the Squad... AOC introduces some of the most insane socialist legislation to ever hit the floor of the House, but now I hear she "just puts on a show." I guess she's just "neoliberal scum."
Good news for her though--that means she's actually gaining power within the caucus!
(Friendly reminder: spitting on people is an assault charge for everyone who isn't a Communist. Dore can cry otherwise, but he should be deeply grateful he so thoroughly identifies with the people in charge or he'd have had a mountain of legal problems and a criminal record.)
There are about 150 million registered voters in the US.
How many people voted this last election? Oh, 150 million...
So yeah, sure; blame the citizenry... If you genuinely believe that 100% of us voted and over half for Biden even though weirdly they seemed to mostly cluster in blue counties of swing states. Makes total sense. This is fine.
(For the record, in any other country this alone be enough evidence for our State Department to start labeling them as fake elections, because this only happens in countries with fake elections: not even countries that enforce voting by law have these numbers.)
He quotes Metro articles to talk about aliens, then bitches when Alex Jones quotes publicly released government papers.
He was all for gun control, right up until violence came to his doorstep then suddenly it was "I need a gun." (BTW, if he looked white his earlier reasoning that "maybe cities should have different rules" would be considered racism, probably even by some here.)
He spends his days commenting on the comments of other commentators, and hasn't done any actual journalism in years.
I like Tim Pool; most people here actually do. Many of us, myself included, have been following him for over a decade now, ever since he was one of the first to use a drone for journalism. That's the problem, interestingly enough: if we didn't like him, we wouldn't bitch about these things. He's becoming nearly unwatchable to the exact audience he was trying to appeal to: smart, informed people. If I wanted crazy hyperbole then I'd probably just watch Infowars, because again, at least they aren't just running with some shitty CNN piece repeating themselves for five minutes to make sure the video is 10 minutes long and monetizable. It's not necessarily him getting "hated," more him getting the knocks he kinda needs to grow out of this really dumb phase he's in.
For the record, he spent the entirety of the past 4 years not behind Trump and getting love from us, yet people think now that he's a Trump voter who is pretty firmly in our camp on most issues we have a problem with him not being a "stalwart"? lol Not so much, no...
It's more that he's entirely an opinion editorialist at this point, but he has kinda stupid opinions. He should do a bit of journalism occasionally to break up the monotonous bullshit commentary, repeat himself way less, and take ownership of prior positions instead of just casually moving on like it never happened.

The caption under the photo...
Last I checked, martial law was a suspension of habeas corpus, usually with curfews and travel restrictions, as well as restrictions on speech...
Ahem.
Then why were you talking about the CDC? You realize they aren't a worldwide organization, right? It's not up to them to say when some other country eradicates a disease; outside their wheelhouse, so to speak.
https://www.cdc.gov/about/organization/mission.htm
And according to the CDC, WE have eradicated polio. And yes, when someone on a forum about American politics talking about a specific American politician even namechecking an American organization says "we," you can just go ahead and assume that we mean Americans.
It may seem crazy to Europeans, but most Americans don't say "we" to encompass the entire fucking species.
https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/vpd/polio/public/index.html
That's incorrect: children in the US still get the polio vaccine--much like the rest of the West--which is what led to the shortage of innactive polio vaccine worldwide, which is why the oral vaccine is used in developing countries...
We actually used to use the oral vaccine here as well, until we started to get what is called "vaccine-derived polio." Which is why you hear the phrase "wild polio," btw: many cases of polio worldwide are caused by the oral vaccine. (It's also way less scary and deadly than wild polio, thankfully.) But other countries fucking saw us do this, so they weren't terribly impressed.
So yeah, our worldwide vaccination program is basically dead in the water at this point, with wild polio basically rampaging through Afghanistan now, due to really fucking bad decisions on the part of NGOs (pushing the oral vaccine literally causing outbreaks, which looks bad when we don't use it here because of that very fucking reason) and our own government (using it to find terrorists, which incidentally is exactly what ME government had been accusing us of for years).
It's tongue-in-cheek. Jesus, lighten up: it's a joke in reference to the cratered numbers for most other causes of colds.
https://www.cdc.gov/norovirus/reporting/calicinet/data.html
https://www.cdc.gov/surveillance/nrevss/rsv/natl-trend.html
https://www.cdc.gov/surveillance/nrevss/hmpv/natl-trend.html
For the record, and actually being serious, the US has eradicated many diseases domestically (which is one of the great arguments for restricted immigration, by the by). The last case of wild polio was in the '70s for instance.
It literally can't be the "just a cold," because according to numbers from the CDC we've cured every cold-causing disease except this new mutation of the coronavirus.
So Joe's a goddamn medical miracle, I guess.
Oh, I'm 80 steps beyond that: I'm now to spamming pro-rona-vaccine nonsense while mentioning all the details of the vaccine's side effects.
"It just doesn't make sense to be scared of Bell's Palsy, when there's this INCREDIBLY DEADLY AND SCARY DISEASE rampaging the country, remember?! If you don't get the vaccine, then you obviously not only want grandma to die but you're risking death yourself!"
So either they admit that rather minor and probably reversible medical issues are actually somehow more serious than the varus--because it's just a cold and they fucking know it--or they have to agree that they should get the vaccine so as to not be a danger to the public regardless of risks. With real diseases like polio, people have no problem accepting these vaccination risks. Odd, isn't it? Almost like they know, deep down, that this is just a fucking LARP.
Either way, it's hilarious for me because again, I love those sparks.
It's especially disheartening to watch users with satirical accounts being banned for "not being pro-Trump" while having a blind eye towards this bullshit because "something something free speech."
If we're a pro-Trump site then we can't allow antisemitism because a quarter of the Trump kids are Jewish as are Trump's own grandchildren. If we're a platform of completely free speech, quit banning any lefty trying to troll.
I fucking hate fence sitting, and that's all this is.
I like telling Branch Covidians about my husband's mandatory testing at his workplace. They get all excited about it (because they're completely insane) so I let them get giddy for a while, then say the most obvious thing in the world:
"Yeah, I wish they would do that with all diseases! We're exposing all these disadvantaged groups to all these illnesses, and it's like no one even cares!"
... I like to watch the sparks fly out of their ears.
The OSS started in the 1940s. A few years later, it became the CIA.
The first women's rights convention in the US was around 1850, with national organizations formally created over the next few decades.
... Ya see the problem with your theory?
... So you think MAGA means purging Jews from America, making militias illegal, and conducting terrorism?
You legitimately need psychological help.

That's one of the archives for the internet. Use it whenever you'd rather not give an outlet a click or to catalogue versions of an article in outlets that allow undocumented editorial changes.
Basically, go to that address and follow the instructions: pop the address you want archived in and you're golden. It's really user-friendly and only takes a few moments.
That's not what they're doing though.
What they're doing is emptying out the ethnic minorities from a few regions, putting them in concentration camps, and forcibly sterilizing them. Wigs are being made with their hair, and their labor is used to subsidize the Communist regime. Within a only a couple more generations, there will be no Tibetans left in Tibet.
... We aren't talking about them having bad employment practices or not letting certain people eat at certain restaurants (though they do this as well).
We're talking about the systemic extermination of whole ethnic groups enacted by the state.
It shouldn't matter what religion or race these people are, but they make it matter when they all work together to attack President Trump and kill America from within, like a cancer.

I find a few things inevitably true when someone quotes their IQ on the internet:
It was either derived from a shitty internet "IQ test" that isn't an IQ test at all or they just made it up whole cloth, and their IQ is definitely not anywhere near where they claim, usually following a bit of an inverse where the higher it is claimed the lower it clearly is.
Just FYI, Albert Einstein is thought to have an IQ of 160. There's a little girl in the UK with an IQ of 160 that got a bunch of media for it. That's how high 160 is: it literally gets reported on in the news, and it puts him up there with some of the smartest people in all of history... If he was smart, he probably would have picked a more realistic number.
