Was in a Kroger store in DALLAS TEXAS last weekend. Plenty of people without masks, plenty with, whatever, I'm not wearing one.
Walk in through the doors directly in front of the self-checkout area where they have an employee stationed there. As I'm walking past the employee in a mask, he looks at me and as I pass mumbles "some people are retarded".
I stop dead in my tracks, walk up to him and reply "what did you say to me?"
He turns slightly to avoid eye contact and says " I wasn't speaking to you sir."
I said "Is that the chicken shit way you want to play this? Tell you what, I'm game, why don't you point out the person you were referring to, I'll bring them over and we can clear this up right now?"
He replied, "Sir, I'm very sorry for any misunderstanding."
I said, "Nope. No misunderstanding. Two choices, I drag your ass outside or tell me you're sorry for what you said. Be sure to leave out the misunderstanding part."
"Sir, I am very sorry."
Walked off without saying anything else.
