The United States was created by violating every law. The purpose was not to make those specific laws, the purpose was to try and make laws that would make the “more perfect union” that’s the goal. They didn’t set out to make a law where X number of people have to agree by X date to certify X thing. That’s all arbitrary in the steps to obtain the actual goal.
I don’t think allowing fraud to take place is in like with obtaining that goal of maintaining the United States. Period.

Wouldn't put it past them...it would be so easy for them to do it too. Last summer on two trips, my flights were delayed, one over night, just because the destination airport couldn't accept new planes for whatever reason. Runway issues.

Also DC hotels are already expensive before you consider surge pricing. Vegas rooms that are normally $60 + $40 resort fee can get as high as $400 if there is a large enough convention and they have way more hotels than DC.

Russia is not even a threat. YES we are diametrically opposed on some political issues, but Putin is simply Russia first. Where there are disagreements, I think he will eventually realize he has more in common with the western world (ie USA) than China.
However I don’t think he is quite to the point of realizing that and honestly kind of fucks things up by viewing the US more hostile than China. He has a right to be wary of the US because we have so many bad actors embedded. But China is rotten top down all the way through. It would be foolish to side with them.
