My mom told me she loves snopes apparently. So I sent her a link to Florida manipulating infections rates, which they claim is mostly false, but if you read the fine print they actually prove it’s true.

I want to show her more examples of their manipulation, but searching online even DuckDuckGo I’m not finding any and I know I’ve seen dozens. Anyone got links to the most egregious examples?

I’m not talking about muting them on the home page. As far as I know they do that with all ads, and you have to manually unmute.

No I’m talking about how they also default to mute if you click in and view the ad on its own link!

If you aren’t aware every video on YouTube, including all ads even those 5-10 second ads, are hosted on YouTube and has a direct link just like any video you watch on the site. If you know the link you could go and leave comments etc on anything. But most companies don’t publish all the ads unless it was created to be interacted with by the YouTube community.

But Trump made his ads all public, so if you want not only can you play the ad on the home page, you can click in and view the direct source on its own. But it still defaults to muted! No videos anywhere else on the platform default to muted if you view their direct source.

I’m tried clicking in on my iPhone, and even clearing cache/cookies it defaults to muted every time. I do the same on any other video. No problem, not muted.

YouTube is scamming President Trump. How many people who might not be very computer or YouTube literate, might run into a problem hearing it and just give up?

I thought of this, and was wondering if any of you pedes know if this would be within his authority? Could Trump sign an executive order that would make profiting off a Covid-19 vaccine illegal?

As we know the Chinese virus, while real, isn't exceptionally dangerous. 80K die yearly fee the flu WITH a vaccine. We are barely halfway to that total, when sifting out the "Deaths with Covid" or the "Death with similar symptoms but no positive test", and the intentional deaths that Cuomo ordered when he intentionally took Covid positive patients out of the hospitals and placed them in nursing homes with the most at risk demographic, and that's only the states where this data is available, who knows how many others have provided faulty data.

So if Trump could somehow make profiting off of a vaccine illegal, he could paint it like "we want a low cost vaccine for people!" But instead of the government paying for the vaccine like most "free" things, simoly no one would get paid, and those like Bill Gates, etc. with a financial stake in a vaccine would lose interest and move on to another scheme.

I really want to travel somewhere in the US. But everywhere I can think of, even those that are 100% open, still have some restrictions like artificially reduced capacity, no dine in service, masks, etc.

Does such a place exist?
