While this is going on, the EU will also be left unchecked, and as one of the only 2 major powers left in the world, the EU will have greater means and authority to enforce their communist policies through economic pressure, all while they continue to consolidate powers within EU governance. Places like the UK which step out of line won’t have anywhere to turn, and will be forced back in line.
Africa will continue to be exploited by China as they become debt slaves to President Winnie the Pooh. What is already a fragile situation will grow worse as tensions and violence continues to rise keeping the area unstable and incapable of fully developing.

You don’t have to worry if you are just visiting. Japan has a massive tourism industry and they absolutely LOVE visitors! They often treat visitors BETTER than foreign residents actually. Not all the time, anecdotal exceptions exist, but the perception of this exists for a reason.
Japan is largely protective over their homogeneous society only as it pertains to people who live permanently in the country. Which makes sense, they understand what makes their culture theirs. Even if you marry a Japanese and speak fluent Japanese, there will always be doubt cast on your allegiance and will not be truly accepted by everyone outside of your immediate family circle.
TL;DR - Nothing will change how people perceive you as a visitor. But I could see how they may view new foreign residents with increased disdain if residency requirements are lowered.

I never wear a mask but the mandates still need to end. Even as a non mask wearer we are still affected because the Rona Fog still looms large over everything and the mask mandates help reinforce that. It is what keeps places closed, or operating differently.
When the masks goes is the only time things will go back to normal, and sadly most people don’t want to be rebels. But because most people are willing and scared sheep doesn’t excuse the localities who wish to exploit that and take advantage of them.
