Can she put together enough of an Indian accent to actually go to a 7-11 and buy the tasty frozen treat? Will it even cross her "mind" that Joe might have meant that?

Would that be what Joe meant?

I just see a risk of multiple misinterpretation here, that will need to be sorted out.
