Quick note before I start: I do not hate transgendered people, I simply believe society is leading them to a terrible life.
Attempted suicide among transgendered adults is now at 51% (https://williamsinstitute.law.ucla.edu/publications/suicidality-transgender-adults/). one in two transgender adults will attempt suicide. Full stop. Something isn't working, and it sure as shit isn't society. The transgender suicide rate just keeps going up and up. WE NEED TO HELP THESE PEOPLE. They are pushing mental illness onto our fellow countrymen and countrywomen! Mutilating your genitals is not a valid solution to gender dysphoria.
in 2016: I was a sophomore in High school and really the only reason I liked Trump was the memes and he made libs cry
in 2020: the country dies otherwise.
My plan to roast the smuggies on snapchat is to have a short video with the caption "but what about democracy?" and the video is me typing democracy into search fxn on a PDF of the US constitution and it returning zero matches.
:)))))))))
The leftist gonna be mad mad
PLEASE I NEED TO RUB THIS IN MY SMUGGIE BROTHER'S FACE.
Before I start, I'm actually not that educated so if you're a lawyer are you think I'm blatantly wrong feel free to let me know.
What I propose is stripping the commonfolk of direct participation in voting for presidential candidates. What will happen instead is the populace will elect the state legislature who in turn pick the electors in an undemocratic fashion.
The reasons why this sounds cool to me:
1). The common citizen voting on a vague national contest is dumb, most people are at most a fourth as informed as they should be. What good is an uninformed voter base? no better than demagoguery
2). I'm no lawyer, but by removing our participation from the national election, you've managed to integrate local politics with the national selection. people will have to pay attention to what the state legislature's positions are on a local level, which is much easier for the average citizen to understand. This also encourages participation in local politics which will strengthen communities.
3). The commonfolk elect the "better men" and the "better men" in turn elect the electors.
4). Citizens voting for national candidates = bias media influence, vague national context, and isolates and divides communities
let me know if I'm braindead, very well might be. To my understanding, nothing stated here violates the constitution.
Unironically the best bonding I've had with friends of different races is over "bigoted" jokes. I guess guys are just built differently from politicians.
But under NO circumstances should we make this site retarded by linking to Vox.
