State only. And the money is attached to the kid not the school.

The urban yoots will quickly find themselves in front of a disciplinary committee and out

We've had that for about 10 years - open enrollment.

Likely uniforms, any fees associated with sports or competitions like choir.

This allows for 7k/yr of money following the student to the school of the parents choosing. We're already had open enrollment at public for about 10y.

2023 - new students get full access no means testing. Current private students with family at 300% fed poverty level get access 2024 - current students of private at 400% fed poverty get access 2025 - all current students get access, no means testing

This will crush multiple shit public districts in the the state as parents bail including the one in my town. Admin salaries/packages/positions are going to get slashed as that previously guaranteed money evaporates.

For perspective i taught public (sped) in IL and IA for 10y and currently teach at the Catholic school my kids attend. Our per student cost is about 7k/y (4.5k parents, rest picked-up by the parish). The public districts get 7.5k from the state per kid plus about 1.5 to 2.5k in local property and other team funding (locale depending).

I'm loving having moved back to my home state in Mar 2020. In 3y we got permitless carry, amended the state constitution (67% yes) to include 2A protection with "strict scrutiny" verbage and now this.

Wrong

Married to a cardiac cath lab/interventional radiology nurse who's been at this for 18 years... Someone who's actually done CPR for extended periods multiple times. If you're not breaking ribs you're doing it wrong.

Correct. It's simply abdication of responsibility

Except it doesn't.

The more motivated side wins.

Protip: "God wins" isn't motivation, it's an abdication of responsibility.
