Not surprising. I don't buy into global warming. However I make purchases of durable goods based on how long they're going to last, but how flashy they are (net reduction in waste/energy). I run my cell phones and computers into the ground. Finally bought a phone (3.5yr) new laptop (7yr) and new external monitor (12yr). I buy high quality tools that will last the rest of my life. Spent $200 and 10hr playing contortionist re-insulating the knee attic spaces in my upstairs. Etc. I don't buy into any green bs or climate change. I just dislike waste and frivolity.
