She either didn't know me or didn't give a shit about my opinions. Probably the second one. It was more than likely the stress of the coof that did it.

Here is some of the shit she brought up (no I'm not exaggerating, no this isn't a joke)

  1. Why did they have to shoot so many times
  2. Why not just shoot him in the leg
  3. He was unarmed
  4. His back was turned to them
  5. They didn't know if he had a weapon in the car
  6. Why didnt they use a tazer
  7. They just pulled their guns for no reason
  8. I don't think it is always ok to kill someone in self defense

Then she asked me if I were in the same situation while I was in iraq/Afghanistan if I would have shot him. I told her he would've never made it to the door of the car. She looked horrified when I said this.

I feel your pain brother. My wife just filed for divorce right after our 10 year anniversary. The only thing I can think of that has changed is covid, and my openness about politics. She's a Dr. And bought into all of the fear of the wuflu, while I saw past all of that shit. We had a big blowout argument over that scumbag Jacob Blake, which ended up being the final straw for her. A few days after that argument she started writing up divorce papers. I'll admit that I wasn't a perfect husband, but damn, to destroy a 10 year relationship over shit like this? I was willing to look past her opinions, but she just couldn't do the same. On a side note we really need a .win for dating, I'm already tired of this single life shit.

I'm going through something similar. My wife filed for divorce 4 weeks ago, after 10 years of marriage. The only thing that I can see that has changed in the last few years is my belief that all of this covid shit is a lie (she's a Dr. And believes it's the end of the world) and I'm more open about my political opinions. Serves me right for marring someone from San Francisco.

Hell I just straight up quit voting. Don't see the point anymore, they're just going to rig it all from here on out.

My wife recently filed for divorce for an "irrevocably broken marriage." The only thing that has changed, at least from what I can tell, in the last 10 years is my openness about my political options. You're not alone.

As someone who is living in Hawaii I find that offensive. Alaska is not a freak state!

lol, bullshit is just a way of life in the USMC. If he lives in Oceanside, best bet is he's stationed in Camp Pendleton. Did his CO ask him directly if he wanted to go on leave? If yes, then that is a little weird. If his CO asked the whole company who wanted to go on leave and who didn't, then it's no big deal.

If you dont mind me asking. What unit is he with? What is his rank? I heard some nutjob SgtMaj out in 29 Palms wanted to cancel Christmas for something really stupid.

FMR Marine here. Served from 2005-2013. Usually what happens is the battalion breaks up leave into blocks. 1/2 the battalion goes on leave for 2 weeks, then come back, then the other 1/2 will go on leave. They usually tell you when you can go on leave, and if you want to ask for leave, you have to have a pretty good reason, other than "hey I want to take a couple days off."

They are 100% opposed to helping Trump in any way. They would rather have chicom joe than ever have GEOTUS

These fags don't even fight their own wars. They come running to us, what the fuck are they going to do? What the fuck can they do? Even those chicoms stationed at the Canadian border are going to get their shit pushed in if they try something. Fucking guns behind every blade of grass bro.

From what I understand is that you need 1 senator and 1 house member to object to certification for a states electors. From there they split up for a debate (min 2 hrs). Senate votes (needs simple majority), they will probably not certify because of the fucking cowards in the GOP. The house votes, but its not the house members, its 1 delegate from each state chosen by state legislatures. There are 30 R and 20 D legislatures. I'm guessing that they will vote to not certify the 7 contested states and throw out those electors. Because the senate and house disagree, Pence will throw out those electors.. This drops the # needed from 270 to 227. All other states will be certified giving Trump 232 and shithead 222. Trump wins. America wins.

Please tell me if I'm wrong
