Yes, was the same in my case. Took a photo with iPhone and tried posting it for 1 hour. Then resized and reduced quality and then it worked. If you don't know how to resize, send the pic to yourself per email. The email client will probably ask you if he should make the pic smaller (that's how iPhone email works).
