Saw a thing today on youtube where they were talking about the little-discussed 1.6 trillion dollars we own of Chinese debt and how we might use a debt swap to wipe out whatever debt of ours they own and alleviate ourselves of the billions in interest we pay to allow them to hold our debt. They never pay interest on their debt of course, but we always do.
