Ballot return data shows Dem ballots down a few percent from 2016 and Repub and independent votes up slightly. My guess is the newbies are those "shy Trump supporters" we keep hearing about who want to make sure this happens. It's ok that not everyone has had the stomach to actively fight this battle along the way. I thank God for my fellow pedes who have.
