Are you against all vaccines or a vaccine for covid?

What’s with all the anti-vax shit here? I thought we were better than this.

Again I trust Trump’s plan over anyone else’s. If he says take it slow we ought to take it slow. I’m with Trump, not with you.

I trust the President’s multi phase plan. It’s the best way to do it.

If cases start to go up you can bet your sweet ass states will shut down again. Not advocating for it but it’s the truth.

So long as they do it slowly and in phases let’s do it. Opening everything at once will just send us back into isolation.

Not a snowballs chance in hell the governor opens half the state.

I said this yesterday on another thread but mandatory vaccines have never ever been a thing in this country and they’re not about to be. The fact that it’s even a talking point is absurd and just makes the right look crazy.

There are two ways to mitigate the virus.

1.) Have no lockdown and create herd immunity. This would mean most at risk or elderly people would die and once enough healthy people have developed an immunity, the virus would stop spreading.

2.) Shelter in place to mitigate the overall spread so that those who are at risk don’t get it and die. We’ve known since the start that this option would significantly extend the period of which we have to put up with this virus.

The president and most states chose option 2 to protect the most at risk and vulnerable. If we abandon social distancing too soon it was literally all for nothing.

Lol anyone against vaccines is a fucking moron. As a pede from just about day one y’all are making it real difficult to shift to this site.

Fewer Americans visiting is the obvious answer

Isn’t New York the worst hit state? Why not wait until things get better before making them worse?

maga_2020 -3 points ago +1 / -4

An overwhelming majority of vaccinated people never have an adverse reaction to a vaccine.

-3
maga_2020 -3 points ago +1 / -4

That is one of the dumbest things I’ve read. You realize they’re not going to release a vaccine unless it’s safe for public use right? It’s important to me that you know that.

I’ve tried to explain so many times here that the reason the death rate is so low and cases haven’t ballooned out of control is because of the fact that everyone has to stay home. If it weren’t for shelter in place in addition to social distancing we’d be in a much worse place.

I’m all for opening very slowly in places where cases are low but it pisses me off when peabrains here want to just let it rip nationwide all at once.

I’m sure you’re an okay person but anti-vax is something I have very little tolerance for. Many of those things have been debunked or proven false. I’m not one to get a flu shot every year but not getting the most essential and important vaccines is just selfish and puts those around you at a greater risk of serious disease.

Holy shit THANK YOU. You’re the first rational person I’ve seen on this site since it shifted from Reddit. I was beginning to think there were none left.

I don’t understand why people don’t willingly vaccinate. There are so many horrifying diseases that can be completely avoided just by getting a simple shot.

That makes a ton of sense for nurses especially when working with and around immunocompromised people.

Literally never in history have there been forced vaccinations in this country. That’s a fact that needs sharing.
