A White House adviser on Monday predicted alternate groups of electors would be chosen in multiple states, and that the process would lead to President Donald Trump winning reelection.
“The only date in the Constitution is January 20. So we have more than enough time to right the wrong of this fraudulent election result and certify Donald Trump as the winner of the election,” Stephen Miller said on “Fox & Friends,” referring to Inauguration Day. “As we speak today, an alternate slate of electors in the contested states is going to vote, and we’re going to send those results up to Congress,” he added.
Under the Electoral College system, electors are meeting in their respective states on Dec. 14 to cast votes for the next American president. The votes are then conveyed to Congress, which meets early next year to count them.
Miller was referring to part of an obscure process that some Republicans see unfolding.
Usually, the candidate who gets the most votes in a state gets that state’s electoral votes. But state legislatures are empowered through the Constitution to decide how electors are appointed. Republican-controlled legislatures in key battleground states could choose a slate of electors for Trump even as a group of Democrat electors casts their votes for Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.
That could lead to two groups from one state descending on Washington to try to convince lawmakers there to count their vote, and not the other group’s, during the joint session of Congress on Jan. 6, 2021.
The House of Representatives and Senate are guided to review “All the certificates and papers purporting to be certificates of the electoral votes” during the session.
Disputes could fuel the appetite to file objections to the votes from certain states. Federal law lets a U.S. representative and senator band together to file an objection to a state, triggering separate votes in each congressional body.
If a majority in each chamber approves the objection, that state’s electoral votes are nullified.
Counting the certified votes at present, Biden would win the presidency. But if several states are taken off the board, both candidates would be below the 270 electoral vote benchmark.
That would lead to a little-known secondary system: the House would choose the president, while the Senate would choose the vice president.
Democrats have a majority in the House but each state would only have one vote under the system, giving Republicans an edge.
Trump’s campaign has urged state legislatures to take back their power to appoint electors, but none have so far done so.
Miller said the alternate electors were important in the event the Trump campaign wins cases in court between Dec. 14 and January.
“That means that if we win these cases in the courts, that we can direct that the ultimate state of electors be certified. The state legislatures in Georgia, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, can do the same. And likewise, Congress has that opportunity as well to do the right thing,” Miller argued.
He asserted that three “Constitutional defects” led to Trump losing: failure to carry out proper signature matching in Georgia, ballots cast in Wisconsin by people who weren’t actually “indefinitely confined,” and uneven treatment of voters in Pennsylvania through the so-called curing of ballots. “Those three violations alone make Donald Trump the winner of the 2020 election,” Miller said.
The Biden team didn’t respond to a request for comment.

A forensic audit of Dominion Voting Systems machines and software in Michigan showed that they were designed to create fraud and influence election results, a data firm said Monday.
“We conclude that the Dominion Voting System is intentionally and purposefully designed with inherent errors to create systemic fraud and influence election results,” Russell Ramsland Jr., co-founder of Allied Security Operations Group, said in a preliminary report.
“The system intentionally generates an enormously high number of ballot errors. The electronic ballots are then transferred for adjudication. The intentional errors lead to bulk adjudication of ballots with no oversight, no transparency, and no audit trail. This leads to voter or election fraud. Based on our study, we conclude that The Dominion Voting System should not be used in Michigan. We further conclude that the results of Antrim County should not have been certified,” he added.
Ramsland, a former Reagan administration official who has worked for NASA, and others from the group examined Dominion products in Antrim County earlier this month as part of an ongoing case.
The team inspected and performed forensic duplication on the county’s election management server, which was running Dominion Democracy Suite 5.5.3-002, compact flash cards used by local precincts in their Dominion ImageCast system, USB memory sticks used by Dominion Voter Assist Terminals, and USB memory sticks used for the poll book. used X-Ways Forensics and other tools including Blackbag-Blacklight Forensic Software, and Virtual Box.
13th Circuit Judge Kevin Elsenheimer approved the forensic examination in Bailey v. Antrim County, which alleges the infamous vote flip county officials reported last month may have not been the result of human error, as officials had alleged. Elsenheimer earlier Monday agreed to let the report on the examination be published.
Ramsland noted that Antrim County officials first reported on Election Night that Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden received, out of 12,423 votes, nearly 7,800. Two days later, they said President Donald Trump actually won the county, receiving nearly 9,800 votes out of over 17,000 cast. But on Nov. 21, the officials again updated the figures, removing about 1,300 votes from Biden.
Ramsland said the tabulation log for the forensic examination of the server for the county showed 15,676 individual events. Of those, some 68 percent were recorded errors.
“These errors resulted in overall tabulation errors or ballots being sent to adjudication. This high error rates proves the Dominion Voting System is flawed and does not meet state or federal election laws,” he wrote.
“A staggering number of votes required adjudication. This was a 2020 issue not seen in previous election cycles still stored on the server. This is caused by intentional errors in the system. The intentional errors lead to bulk adjudication of ballots with no oversight, no transparency, or audit trail. Our examination of the server logs indicates that this high error rate was incongruent with patterns from previous years. The statement attributing these issues to human error is not consistent with the forensic evaluation, which points more correctly to systemic machine and/or software errors. The systemic errors are intentionally designed to create errors in order to push a high volume of ballots to bulk adjudication,” he added later.
Ramsland was hired by William Bailey, the plaintiff in the court case.
In a separate declaration, Michigan resident Gustavo Delfino said he was involved in a 2004 election in his native Venezuela. He said he witnessed strange events and later found discrepancies involving Smartmactic computers. He said he was alarmed when he learned the technology was being used in the Nov. 3 presidential election and said the pattern of so-called glitches and voting machines being connected to the Internet mirrored what happened in his country nearly two decades ago.
The office of Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, a Democrat, Dominion, and a spokesman for Antrim County didn’t respond to requests for comment.
Erik Grill, an assistant attorney general, told the judge on Monday morning that the preliminary report was “inaccurate, incomplete, and misleading.” Haider Kazim, an attorney for the county, said it contained several errors the county believes were based on “faulty assumptions and incorrect assumptions.”

Attorney Sidney Powell on Sunday alerted the U.S. Supreme Court to new evidence filed in her legal team’s Michigan lawsuit related to the state’s Dominion Voting Systems voting equipment, as she called on the court to intervene in her cases challenging the integrity and outcome of the 2020 elections in four states.
Powell in a letter notified the court of two batches of recently obtained evidence, the first of which she said came from an initial forensic analysis of Dominion voting machines in Michigan’s Antrim County that was prepared under a protective order issued on Dec. 4 by Judge Kevin Elsenheimer, who is overseeing the case.
The former federal prosecutor, who has been seen working alongside Trump’s legal team pushing election challenges, said that the initial results of the ongoing expert analysis provide “new information and evidence” as it relates to the Nov. 3 election in Antrim County.
“By logical extrapolation, [the analysis] explains voting anomalies and evinces fraud throughout the Dominion Voting Systems,” Powell wrote. “The new evidence specifically provides additional and conclusive evidence of election fraud and irregularities pertaining to the Nov. 3, 2020 election. The final ‘certified tally’ in Michigan reflected a slim margin of Mr. Biden’s vote count to be 146,000 over that of President Trump, with just under 10 million people living in Michigan,” she said.
Powell asserted that the newly obtained evidence “is directly relevant to Petitioners’ Emergency Petition Under Rule 20 for Extraordinary Writ of Mandamus” before the Supreme Court, as it corroborates and supports the existing record of evidence proving massive election fraud, multiple violations of the Michigan Election Code, federal statutes, and the Equal Protection Clause of the U.S. Constitution.
It came shortly after Powell announced Friday that she had filed emergency requests to the nation’s top court, asking the justices to order officials in Michigan, Georgia, and Arizona to immediately de-certify their 2020 election results and to prevent the states’ presidential electors from casting votes in the electoral college.
An emergency filing is also anticipated for her Wisconsin case. The filings aim to maintain the status quo in the states in order to give the Supreme Court time to consider the allegations presented in her lawsuits.
Her letter outlines new affidavits from two forensic experts who allege that international interference took place in the 2020 election, and that Dominion systems were connected to foreign systems around the globe.
Powell said that two Military Intelligence analysts have signed sworn affidavits stating that the SSL certificates from dominionvoting.com were used multiple times from Canada, Serbia, and the United States.
“Additionally, the affidavits detail evidence demonstrating that Sequoia Capital seeded or funded Dominion Voting Systems and HSBC Toronto acquired from Dominion Voting Systems 18 patents representing intellectual property of Dominion Voting Systems. These patents all pertain to direct interfaces with the U.S. election process by means of ballots, systems, and machines,” Powell wrote.
“This affidavit further reveals that a Toronto-based Chinese bank (HSBC) secures the intellectual patents pertaining to direct access to the U.S. election systems and equipment from Dominion Voting Systems,” Powell said in her letter, stating that the information contained in the affidavits further demonstrates foreign interference in the Nov. 3 election.
Powell last month said that prior analysis of server logs on Dominion’s machines in Georgia primary elections showed “remote access into those servers in the middle of the night when no election workers were around,” possibly by Dominion employees overseas or “on behalf of adverse nation-states such as Iran and China.”
The allegation is based on a redacted declaration of a former electronic intelligence analyst under 305th Military Intelligence.
The attorney told The Epoch Times last week that due to alleged foreign interference in the Nov. 3 election, “it’s more than sufficient to trigger” President Donald Trump’s executive order on foreign interference issued in 2018.
Powell asked that the latest evidence from the forensic examination be filed under seal, citing “significant implications for national security” and due to the protective order under which it was obtained. She noted that there is a hearing in the Michigan court scheduled for Monday morning on the plaintiffs’ motion to unseal the report. “This evidence is crucial to a just resolution of the cases pending before this court,” Powell concluded.

Lawyer Sidney Powell asserted that due to alleged foreign interference in the Nov. 3 election, “it’s more than sufficient to trigger” President Donald Trump’s executive order on foreign interference issued in 2018.
In September 2018, Trump signed an executive order that says “not later than 45 days after the conclusion of a United States election, the Director of National Intelligence, in consultation with the heads of any other appropriate executive departments and agencies (agencies), shall conduct an assessment of any information indicating that a foreign government, or any person acting as an agent of or on behalf of a foreign government, has acted with the intent or purpose of interfering in that election,” according to the text of the order.
Powell told The Epoch Times she believes due to that executive order, it can give Trump “all kinds of power … to do everything from seize assets to freeze things, demand the impoundment of the machines,” referring to voting machines. “Under the emergency powers, he could even appoint a special prosecutor to look into this, which is exactly what needs to happen,” Powell added. “Every machine, every voting machine in the country should be impounded right now. There’s frankly more than enough criminal probable cause to justify that, for anybody who’s willing to address the law and the facts purely on the basis of truth and not politics, or corporate greed, or global wealth.”
For the past month, some, including Maricopa County GOP Chairwoman Linda Birickman, as well as Powell, have alleged Dominion Voting Systems’ machines allowed for votes to be switched from Trump to Democrat candidate Joe Biden. Dominion has pushed back, saying that it’s not possible to change votes, while asserting it has no ties to foreign governments and does not allow its employees to engaged in vote-tabulation efforts.
Powell noted that Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe has only a few days left until he is to prepare his report to the president, according to the September 2018 executive order. It’s not clear when—or if—Ratcliffe will issue the report as no public confirmation has been given so far. Little mention has been made of the executive order since it was issued more than two years ago.
Should Ratcliffe issue his order, “It’s going to blow the mind of every citizen in the country who’s willing to look at the truth and the facts,” Powell remarked. “Because there’s never—we’ve never witnessed anything like this in the history of this country. And it’s got to be stopped right now or there will never be a free and fair election.”
The order also stipulates that “within 45 days of receiving the assessment and information,” the heads of the Department of Justice and Homeland Security and “any other appropriate agencies” shall deliver a report evaluating the U.S. general election.
That includes “the extent to which any foreign interference that targeted election infrastructure materially affected the security or integrity of that infrastructure, the tabulation of votes, or the timely transmission of election results; and if any foreign interference involved activities targeting the infrastructure of, or pertaining to, a political organization, campaign, or candidate, the extent to which such activities materially affected the security or integrity of that infrastructure, including by unauthorized access to, disclosure or threatened disclosure of, or alteration or falsification of, information or data,” it says.

What prosperity for our Nation, what peace for our people, what success for our endeavors can we hope for, when those who govern us show that they are unworthy of the authority they hold, of the role that has been given them as our representatives? Our protest, our denunciation of electoral fraud, is not only motivated by the fact that we are supporting Donald J. Trump as a candidate: it is above all a battle for justice and truth, which goes far beyond membership in a party or voting for a candidate. If today we do not obtain justice from our elected officials; if the United States of America does not know how to choose between defending the Law and legitimizing a coup against its citizens, our Nation will abdicate its duties toward Americans and its international role. A betrayal will take place and History will ask for an account of it from all of us and from our Institutions and our leaders. Pray now that when the light shines in the coming days, it reveals the truth along with a new era of American patriotism.
