Straight of the socialist playbook of the ANC party that rules South Africa, which is where this "Truth and Reconciliation Commission" bullshit comes from. If the USA ever surrenders itself to socialists, prepare for more ideas similar to those that the ANC implemented in South Africa to be pulled into mainstream American politics.
Some examples:
- Affirmative action legislation
- Black Economic Empowerment (quota) legislation
- Mines, banks and all land should be owned by the State
- "Free" healthcare for all, including illegal immigrants, paid for by the tax payer
- "Free" education for all, including illegal immigrants, paid for by the tax payer
- "Free" housing for all, including illegal immigrants, paid for by the tax payer
- Expropriation of land without compensation
So if a 23 year old man gives a 14 year old boy a blow-job, that would not result in the offender being registered on the sex offenders list.

I stumbled across your comment. I have studied the South African nuclear program for many years for a book I am writing. I also grew up 30 minutes from the site where Israel and South Africa tested their ICBM missiles. I find this topic fascinating.
If "transgender" can be a thing, then "transracial" can be a thing.
Not sure how many Americans know this, but the largest shareholder (by far) of Tencent is Naspers Limited, a massive multinational media and technology group, out of South Africa, one of the largest in the world. Naspers in turn, is majority owned by the Public Investment Corporation, which is a State-owned body, 100% owned by the South African State. The South African State (which is a one party state run by the communist ANC) is a partner and admirer of China, and is in fact "owned" by China. China owns 80% of all sovereign debt in Africa, and has borrowed South Africa trillions of dollars. Think of this when you hear Tencent. Source: South African. And massive Trump supporter.

When a black person is murdered, the perpetrator is black 93% of the time (*1)
-
Number of black people murdered in 2018 = 7407 (*2)
-
Number of black people shot dead by the police in 2019 that were unarmed = 9 (*3)
So “white police” is responsible for about 0.1% of black people being killed unlawfully...
Blacks are responsible for 93% of black people being killed unlawfully...
But the police is the problem...

South Africa is extremely beautiful and has unbelievable natural resources, yes, but politically the country is fucked. It is run by the socialist ANC regime, who steals, plunders and mismanages the country beyond what you will believe. We have poverty rates and crime rates that will blow your mind. Entire towns and municipalities bankrupt without water or sanitation, roads that are literally undrivable from potholes, an economy in recession. Public services are completely fucked. Outside of affluent metropolitan areas, and the Western Cape, the majority of rural South Africa looks like third world slums on par with Venezuala.
