In the video on her hand you can see the bottom is silver and round--USB flash drives are normally dark plastic and would not reflect light like in the video.
In addition to the shape on the bottom being wrong for a flash drive (but correct for a vape pen) you can see the length is wrong as well--whatever silver thing she has in her hand is coming out that bottom and top of her palm so about the length of the THC vape pen I posted a picture of.
So this is a red herring....explains the shifty behavior as well.

I'm a little concerned. She most likely came forward recently and the "I can't get a job anymore" phrase sounds suspect.
