Interesting take. I ultimately think the goal and end result of a Patriot party would be the end of the GOP. It may take a few years to accomplish but I think if Trump started a new party it would immediately become much larger in terms of voter base than the GOP. Who cares about splitting the vote because Republicans are worthless anyway. What good is electing a Republican when all they do is allow Dems to advance their agenda? We need a new party to replace them.

If a few MAGA politicians came on board quickly (ex. Jim Jordan, Matt Gaetz), it would be an immediate force that would lead others to follow while the Never Trump RINOs would either dwindle away into irrelevancy or join the Dems where they belong.

That being said, I think Trump is gonna wait until after the impeachment trial before he makes a move on that.

If you don’t pay taxes they’ll just throw you in prison so not sure how well this idea will work

I was talking about Rush. Not that I don’t share your worries about Trump’s wellbeing

He sounded awful during the first 20 minutes or so yesterday. I’m afraid that we have just a very short time with this American hero.

This is why we need the MAGA party

I don’t think it’s moronic. I believe it was a Rasmussen poll that said nearly 75% of Republicans would leave the party for a Trump party. How many registered Dems tired of woke politics would also join?

If the MAGA party started, there wouldn’t be anything close to a viable Republican Party left and it would go the way of the Whigs in a few years. Those holdouts would then have to decide between MAGA winners and Dem losers.

There is no saving the Republican Party at this point

Congrats on being almost finished! We need more MAGA nurses out there!

Medications involved in the critical care setting (see my comment about QT interval in this thread for an example) can lead to arrhythmias that can cause cardiac arrest.

Heavy sedation can cause respiratory arrest (you stop the drive to breathe) but that won’t cause cardiac arrest if you are on a ventilator which will breathe for you

Good point. Typically thrombus formation in the coronaries would not form without underlying plaque being present. I know you’re not suggesting this, just noting this for clarity’s sake.

So that is true about azithromycin and the QT interval but the term “heart attack” is being applied loosely here. Combining medications that cause QT prolongation can lead to a fatal arrhythmia called Torsades de Pointes but that does have anything to do with the coronary arteries, which thrombus formation in the coronary arteries in the setting of an unstable plaque (due to atherosclerosis) is what is meant by “heart attack”. It’s a lay term for myocardial infarction.

Yes that happens all the time unfortunately. It’s not common but it’s not rare either. A lot of coronary artery disease is genetic so sometimes you will see even the young “health nuts” die of a massive heart attack in their 40s

Doc here...

Newsflash for the moron physician quoted in the article: just because it hasn’t been diagnosed yet, doesn’t mean you don’t have an underlying condition.

Heart attack = underlying coronary artery disease.

People with normal coronaries don’t have procedure-related heart attacks.

How can you blame him when these people always say all the right things but once they are in office, they just screw us over?

They know that no matter how damning the evidence is, the fake news media will cover for them. So even if the courts/legislature give the election to Trump, they will run a massive campaign to make it appear that he’s a dictator and illegitimate, to create more chaos and destruction of our country

Quote from article:

“A spokesperson for the coffee company told The Salt Lake Tribune on Saturday afternoon that the company was terminating its sponsorship of Slightly Offens*ve, but late Saturday, she said she had misunderstood.

“We are not fluctuating our ad spend,” she said in a text message. “We did have a conversation with Schaffer, and he understands that the post was a mistake.”

Earlier in the day, she had said: “We don’t traffic in national tragedy and to us, that’s what this is. We are not legal experts or members of law enforcement. We fully support all law enforcement officials and believe in the integrity of the legal system.”

After clarifying the company’s continuing sponsorship of Blaze Media, she added: “Our concern is that use of the discount code in the post did not reflect our values. That’s a concern we’ve addressed with the journalist and that he understands.”
