Not sure what time 8:08 local is for you but Trump was best in the last 30 minutes.
I think Joe’s empty emotional pleas may work for the low-info voters who weren’t really paying attention last night. But, these people were gonna vote for Joe anyway.
Trump destroyed his tactics though when he called out his “empty seats at the dinner table” nonsense for what it was... a typical empty platitude that politicians use. That is what the “third party” person saw last night
Bevan Cooney and Devon Archer are business partners of Hunter’s. Bevan has been in prison for crimes related to these deals and released his email account because he felt he was being made the fall guy for Biden. Devon Archer apparently has also been convicted and is awaiting sentencing
Not sure who the other guy is
All the coordinated talking points I’m hearing this morning are all about how horrible it was and how difficult it was to watch.
It makes sense to me that they ultimately don’t want to keep exposing Biden to the risks of an uncontrolled debate, so the plan is to try and make people not want to watch it.
I think Trump did well considering the circumstances and having to debate against Wallace too.
I think the biggest miss though was not being able to more clearly articulate the condemnation of “critical race theory”. All he needed to say was that “it teaches that all white people are inherently racist, which is a clearly racist philosophy that I don’t think belongs in this country.” Unfortunately he let Wallace conflate it with “facial sensitivity” which is BS
I hear you. I do like a lot of Tim Keller’s writing but I think some of his most recent books (like the one about Jonah) have gotten political, so that has turned me off. However, his older books are excellent and offer great insight into the Bible with a modern language style. Haven’t read much of John Piper but have heard good things about him.
A lot of states don’t have a straight ticket option
