Feel free to use this to write your state reps! I sent a similar letter to the Republican Party as well.
"First, you must understand that I have been a conservative all my life and when I turned 18, I proudly registered Republican and have voted straight Republican tickets in every election since.
I am deeply disturbed by the patently obvious election fraud committed in the 2020 election by Democrats, but to be honest, I expected this behavior.
What is more troubling is that our own Republican Party cannot stand united against this fraud and fight it with the voracity it deserves. Worse still is that some prominent party Republicans are actively helping it happen!
We currently are facing an existential threat to our Republic. States like GA, MI, PA, and AZ have openly defied the Constitution and our courts are ignoring this. Meanwhile, most prominent Republicans have been silent.
There is only two logical explanations for this:
- Cowardice
- The Republican party is complicit in the fraud
There are 74,000,000+ Donald Trump supporters out there who will not stand for this. You have seen his rallies, and you know that the bond between the President and his supporters is stronger than any politician has ever had.
I implore you to do the right thing and formally contest the vote of the electoral college in the Senate. If you and other Republicans in Congress vote to certify this fraudulent election, there will be no more Republican Party.
Be aware that if Donald Trump is not inaugurated for his second term this January, you can be certain that I (along with tens of millions of others) will leave the party and the GOP will become extinct.
The choice is yours."
