Trump is pulling back the Obama payroll HIKE.
It was originally raised under Obama's term, to additionally fund Social Security since it had issues post 08 recession.
The payroll tax is NOT the only funding for Social Security. If you receive a paycheck via W2, you'll notice you pay a social security tax, directly deducted from your paycheck.
This is not the governments money. It is YOUR money, given to the governemnt to be paid back to you when its your turn to collect. It is YOUR money.
The additional hike in payroll under Obama was supposed to HELP fund Social Security more, the sad part is, I don't get this money back.... do you understand????
To say that Trump lowering the recent hike on payroll taxes (which have nothing to do with the SS tax you pay on your paystub) and will defund social security is like saying Shaq not doing papa johns commercials will completely defund his families income. It's a pittance that goes right back in employer and employee pockets. 8%! some cases up to 15% right back in your pocket.
