Other than the small possible threat of meltdowns that would leave big chunks of land uninhabitable for decades, I actually think nuclear power plants are good as they have the lowest impact on the environment even when compared to wind and solar if you consider the resources it takes to make them versus their efficiency to produce power. I just don't want a mush brain with alzheimer's or their admin to be the ones in charge of regulations of something that has the potential to be dangerous in the wrong hands.
