I THINK Pete Sessions from TX is on-board but I'm not sure where to find contact info for incoming politicians.

Clinton and Kaine? Didn't really see the strategy there...

Most of the "lockdown" orders in Austin don't have any teeth. If you read the covid restrictions, they're recommendations.

We had a pretty normal NYE last night here with zero issues.

Write in candidate: Donald J Trump

Transfer 100% of all votes to him.

You mean the gov't is about to get more taxes from you than you earned.

If Pence does this, he automatically gets my primary and general election votes in 2024, no questions asked.

It's be hilarious to watch too.

I wouldn't ban that butt stock since I don't mind seeing idiots culled from our population.

"I need to deal with a private family matter."

Take more days off than needed for rally trip.

Uh...

This indicative that the source was from the RV-side? If you have a point explosion, the fireball will propagate radially from that point (ie. left-to-right and bottom-to-top from the RV).

The freeze frame indicates that the fireball is spreading and dissipating from left to right. What the video is indicating as the source is not correct.

Any gun?

GAU-8 Avenger mounted on a Humvee or something.

On paper it's completely asinine, but I suppose you could use it to prevent another chicom tianamen square "incident" what with its armor piercing depleted uranium rounds

Nah, AT&T's free cash flow is pretty high and they've been doing a good job of paying down their debt over the last few years. They're seeing growth in HBO and Fiber by a pretty healthy degree and also have a few interested parties in Dish. So while the debt load may scare off some people, AT&T is using quite a bit of their debt for leverage (not unlike Trump to some degree). Their dividend is pretty strong as well.

Elliot's trying to cut any business segments which aren't growth so that's part of why they're axing legacy broadband technologies too.

Honestly, Austin's not bad (I think because of Abbott). I am not sure if there are no events because performers are not scheduling, or city is not allowing. I do recall that there was a concert scheduled, but starting price of tickets were $250. So I THINK Austin was allowing performers in...not sure if they cancelled, though. On the flip side, the Hodge Twins couldn't find a venue to perform at pre-COVID, so yes the city is cucked in that regards.

My wife and I are still going to have a nice Christmas eve dinner at a restaurant today, I am going to go work out at my crossfit gym in the morning, I am going to go to the shooting range over Christmas break. My wife and I are going to do some brick-and-mortar after Christmas shopping as stores permit.

The fact that verbiage is "recommendation" and "urges" gives us citizens a choice. If we're scared, we follow recommendation, if we're ok with the risks, we ignore them.

Having moved from CA and still being in touch with my friends there, there's absolutely zero question in my mind that it's far better even in a dark blue area like Austin than the Bay area CA.

So, this is an Austin perspective but I suspect applies to DFW too.

Businesses are still open, albeit at reduced capacity of 50%

Recommended (not mandatory) to limit travel and activities to essential activities.

There are shops and stores which are curbside only, but note that this is a business and not a gov't decision. Gyms still remain open and for most people who are ok with living with COVID risks, continue to largely live with some degree of normalcy sans ginormous gatherings (such as concerts and stuff ... Don't think churches are affected)

The only thing that I'm not sure about is the bar situation.

But in all honesty, my life today isn't that much different from 1 year ago. My wife and I still do date night with various activities, we dine out 3-5 times a week, we travel, we patronize local businesses.

It's not completely unregulated like FL, but far better than NY or CA that's for sure.

We probably have a better grasp of the heartbeat of the US, more so than any polling firm, politician, or think tank...if you can filter out and cut through the noise.

Lol wtf is this drivel:

"There is no evidence the results of the last election showing President-elect Joe Biden defeating President Trump by more than 70 electoral votes and more than 7 million votes overall was unfair"
