Just curious if anyone has noticed the increased usage of this word in the liberal media this week.
I tend to notice and latch onto buzzwords immediately (They reek of desperation and intellectual insecurity) and first noticed the word "fomented" in Mattis' statement about our Capitol protest and Biden.
Since then, I have heard it used by three different anchors across CNN/MSNBC/CBS.
I know the human brain has a tendency to create these types of connections, but based upon what I've learned about media manipulation over the last couple of years, I don't leave anything to chance. They choose their words VERY carefully.
My son hasn't seen his grandparents since February. We really want him to be able to go over and open some presents with them.
They are incredibly scared of Covid. Older and pre-existing conditions.
I can't force my views on them.
Do any of you fine folks have any reputable links I can share with them regarding children and asymptomatic spread?

While deployed overseas, most of our military is forced to put up with the American Forces Network (AFN).
While AFN has its own programming, much of its daily feeds are just reruns of Fox/NBC/CNN/etc.. Maybe "live" and maybe on a short delay, depending on where in the world you are.
The main News channel on AFN changes its source (fox/cnn/msnbc..) every hour, and sometimes every thirty minutes. Needless to say, when deployed, I watch a LOT of liberal news I would normally eschew when I am home.
One YUGE thing I have noticed since November is how MSNBC (primarily) and CNN have been giving a couple minutes a day to "debunk" or "fact-check" some of the theories the TDW/Qanon/chan-kun communities have been discussing for YEARS.
Why now? Why have they stayed silent on things this whole time, but NOW they are talking about some of our more substantial theories almost jokingly and ensuring everyone they are all false.
Why?
Because the truth is floating to the surface of the murky shit-pond that is our current state of governmental affairs.
They CANNOT ignore us anymore!
They HAVE to talk about our concerns and our legitimate narrative of the last four years of American (and global) history.
Look at how much energy and time they've devoted to trying to make everyone believe Sidney Powell is a quack. Really? Why would any news organization relegate itself to name-calling and reputation-smearing? That's not news at all. That's activism.
The liberal media is at the end of a very long alley way. Blocked in by a gigantic American flag. Held in place by the Trump family and their rapidly dwindling support base.
I'll say it again. If any of this were fake, or if Trump were to concede, he would have done it by now.
Everything is real. Minus the alien-reptile stuff. That's a bit too out there for my taste.
