I hated school as a kid. They teach you so much useless junk you never use in life and thus forget within a couple of months. The important stuff:
Interviewing properly for job
Writing a proper resume
Financial understandings
Not of that was taught in school when I was a kid. It was just fractions, fractions, fractions. Guess what? I don't know how to do fractions, because I haven't had a need for them in over a decade.
Factorization of education is what is destroying the system. Teach kids things they absolutely need to know instead of a bunch of crap that is ultimately useless in the real world.
