Not too long ago you could sit around and debate topics with family and friends and even if things got heated everyone knew you loved each other and we respected each other.

Yeah, what happened?

I have talked to some people who voted for Trump and they act like they are ashamed to admit it or try to downplay it lol.

The mainstream media hides all of this stuff tho.

I would be told "you can't believe everything you see/read on the Internet". Or the video was manipulated somehow.

I'm going to point out exactly how shitty things are to these people every chance I get.

You won't have to because they'll be b*tching and complaining to you about their problems as things get shitty. And you can say I told you so.

Sometimes I think about gathering a bunch of articles and putting some video together that proves them wrong.

normie who is 100% blind on everything.

This is the most frustrating case. At least you know what you're getting when arguing with a hardcore leftist. The normie thinks that every bit of news outside of the mainstream media is BS or a conspiracy theory.

I don't even get that argument from them, they just don't like him because they think he's a belligerent a**hole. Ok maybe he is in some ways but the guy walked into this as an outsider and was treated like crap from the Washington elite, media, etc. Yeah probably best not even to get into it. Or just find common ground and stick to those subjects. Sometimes they are trying to bait me into an argument.

It's almost like they are jealous because he can act the way he does and gets away with it, while they can't. Or something like that. I don't understand it. The guy tells it like it is and fights for what he believes in.

The frustrating thing is I'm not dealing with leftists. My dad for example is more of a centrist. He kinda gets it but thinks Trump is an a**hole. I told him about the Chicago and DC mayors urgently wanting to reopen restaurants. He actually was into the Trump thing until Covid and has had issues with him ever since.

Yeah maybe they'll start b*tching about Biden eventually. Perhaps Trump should keep a low profile for awhile and wait on people to turn on Biden.

They've probably already seen it live.

Geez, how condescending and judgmental. The frustrating thing about my family is they are moderate but convinced that Trump is an a**hole. Maybe he is but so what....he got results.

Might be time to go the sarcasm route as things go downhill.

I told my dad about the army thing and he knew nothing about it. He gets his news from mainstream sources.

You're right. I try but the facts don't register.

I engage at first but it quickly gets emotional. Lately I'll just nod or change the subject and bring up Pelosi or McConnell (who everyone seems to despise lol).

I've stated all this and more. But Trump is an "a**hole" and that apparently negates all of those accomplishments. Ugh.

Yep gotta give him credit for that. Looks like he is in his 60s.

Good strategy. Also look up the Permanent Portfolio by Harry Browne
