Hi. So I live in CA. We are in lockdowns. I know the government is infringing on our rights like the 1st amendment with telling us to not be in church and groups. However, I was reading about the 10th amendment and the “police power” the state had that is allowed to take away some of our rights during an emergency supposably.

Can someone explain how this is okay or what’s the argument of why we should be open and how Newsom is violating our rights? If he’s allowed to dictate us like that? I didn’t know about the 10th amendment. So I felt kinda stupid when someone showed me that.

I’m probably being emotional but I’m getting pissed at Trump because he’s letting them win. I’m not trying to doom but I’m trying to stay positive, hold the line and it’s hard when you have the IA but not using it. Why not?! Impeaching Trump AGAIN is a slap in Americans faces while you have stupid ass leftists clapping for it. Idk. I’m starting to really fear where America is heading and afraid for my husband and my son.

I love Daddy Trump and always will. I am just angry and disappointed.

So I’ve been on furlough for a while. I was waiting to go back. I’ve been skeptical about this virus. I think it’s real but not super serious unless you are old, have health conditions or a baby.

I found out there was an exposure at work and no one was told and more people got it. They got pretty sick. I know a handful of people who were in the hospital for it too.

Anyway, I have a 10 month old and I don’t want to go back to work when I can stay home with baby and I’d rather be safe than sorry. I was sick this past December and wore a mask around my baby and he didn’t get sick.

I only wear a mask if required. I don’t take baby out unless I have to.

Anyway, should I be cautious? I want to trust all you and I want to trust the CDC as well because I am in the healthcare field but still. What would you do about your family?
