I think voting machines could potentially work, there just needs to be transparency. Open source hardware and software that can maybe be verified with some kind of checksum or something. Users need to be able to verify nothing has been tampered with. The point Stallman makes here about the problems presented in practice is good though. You might design all kinds of precautions and it all falls apart in practice when some loopole you didn't think of gets exploited.

He is also suggesting that younger people are more likely to resist arrest and interpreted your lack of understanding as a perspective problem rather than a comprehension problem.
I've always suspected the non-removable battery trend was to stop people from disconnecting power from their devices. It's possible they're listening in even when you think it's off. Only way to deal with that is to remove the power and you can't do that if it's sealed.
Modern tech is a black box of spyware. I work in tech and almost exclusively use Linux for day to day tasks. I also own a Linux phone and intend to switch to it full time once the software has matured a bit. Corporate tech sucks.

Well, I think we're all just about ready. This election was stolen. The deep state has destroyed our abillity to have peaceful reform. We're all ready to tear down the system, but we disagree on how it needs to be rebuilt.

This might sound off, but christians that are too upright make me skeptical. It's not that we shouldn't live righteously, but many christians seem to be more concerned with the appearance of righteousness and how they are perceived by others. We can't judge their hearts, but if you think about the Pharisees they were rebuked for "teaching as doctrines the commandments of men". They were more concerned with being approved by men than they were of being approved by God. Pence has always come across to me as someone who isn't going to have your back when things get difficult because he cares too much about how he is perceived. I'm not trying to slander Pence. I don't know what his internal thoughts and intentions are, but he attended the inauguration of a cheater and I suspect it's because he believed that was the politically favorable option, not the right one. The guy who doesn't appear upright though, Trump, is the one fighting for righteous legislation and standing against anyone coming against him regardless of how it tarnishes his reputation.
