Imagine telling Samual Whittemore he's delusional and can't fight 800 soldiers on his own. Imagine telling him "You think you’re untouchable, but you’re not." It's not about thinking we're untouchable. It's about continuing to fight regardless of the obstacles in our path. Those obstacles may change and will be addressed when it becomes appropriate to do so. Getting people off their ass isn't accomplished by reminding them how big the enemy is. I think authors should be compensated for their work and many only release their books on Amazon. That being said, I'm not buying anything through Amazon moving forward. I have no ethical objection to torrenting books you already own.
I used an application called Calibre to convert all of mine. I've lost my highlights and what not but I really shouldn't have been locking myself into their ecosystem in the first place.
