Larry Ellison CTO of Oracle seems somewhat conservative from his Wikipedia page. He's hosted a fundraiser for Rand Paul in his home. He also allowed Donald Trump to have a fundraiser on his estate. Perhaps Parler and the like should be using their cloud services.

Hopefully there are plenty of companies that were smart enough to consider this scenario when designing their infrastructure.

I would agree with this if there were alternatives, but our incompetent government has allowed what are essentially monoploies to exist in this space and as we've seen with Parler, the opposition can be thrown offline on a whim.

“A sower went out to sow. And as he sowed, some seeds fell along the path, and the birds came and devoured them. Other seeds fell on rocky ground, where they did not have much soil, and immediately they sprang up, since they had no depth of soil, but when the sun rose they were scorched. And since they had no root, they withered away. Other seeds fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked them. Other seeds fell on good soil and produced grain, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

“Hear then the parable of the sower: When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is what was sown along the path. As for what was sown on rocky ground, this is the one who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy, yet he has no root in himself, but endures for a while, and when tribulation or persecution arises on account of the word, immediately he falls away. As for what was sown among thorns, this is the one who hears the word, but the cares of the world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and it proves unfruitful. As for what was sown on good soil, this is the one who hears the word and understands it. He indeed bears fruit and yields, in one case a hundredfold, in another sixty, and in another thirty.”

In AZ here, can confirm. I was given a black marker and so was everyone else.

Holy shit, me too! I voted in person and was handed a black marker along with everyone else. I didn't even think that it wouldn't be counted without using a pen. Edit: In AZ BTW

What if someone farts in your breathing hole?

I agree with you, however I took OPs comment to be more snide than anything else. I don't think anyone here literally agrees that athiests exclusively spend their time bitching about Christians. OP was inaccurate with that statement. Athiests tend to include Muslims.

I was just pointing out your completely out of proportion reaction. You could use a bit of introspection.

You know, I don't have an answer. I suppose I'm one of the people that's not trying to stop anything going on right now. I mind my own business. I armed myself and am kind of just thinking I'll respond if the violence reaches me. So far I'm not too concerned about it for my own sake at least. I live far outside the city. I imagine anyone dealing with this first hand is going through hell. If bashing teeth in stops the chaos I wouldn't take the option off the table. I think though the most likely outcome is that it will only escalate to more chaos.

Spez: I also just have to mention that there are some assholes in here. I think you've entered bad mental territory. It's easy to drift into negative thought patterns and dwell on them. It will really jack up your perspective on life. I know that this will probably sound like some bullshit, but try thinking about some of the things you're grateful for. Make a list. It might help you get some perspective back.

You're asking why you shouldn't beat up your coworkers? Let's say you do beat them up. Where do you end up? Does your situation improve? Are you better off than before? Is anyone better off? I don't imagine the answer to any of those questions is positive. As is the case in Dante's Inferno, sometimes the only way out is through.

Except that Facebook exists in a supposedly free market. These monopolies need to be broken up or at least prevented from absorbing potential competitors like Zuck has done with Instagram and others.

Biden would ask it to find out. He can't remember if he's rattled or not.

That city already looks like that and Trump is in office. Not the best tagline IMO.
