I second this. English has no gender-neutral singular third-person pronoun. Some languages do, but not English. Where a word needs to cover men and women both, the masculine form does double duty, ie “mankind” includes women.

The focus on race and sex “inequality” in our society is a diversion from the real inequality and a divide and conquer strategy. It’s worked beautifully on left-wingers.
