I love this community. In here, I've found a place where I can express my thoughts and beliefs without getting pounded for it unlike other platforms. And it's also reassuring that there are people out there who share my same values, thoughts, and experiences. I feel closer with this community, with people whom I have never met in person, than I do with some of my social media friends with whom I have shared meals.

Having said all that, I have been torn inside. On one hand, I've been in favor of taking the high road and playing by the rules. Let's keep it civil, and let's keep it clean. If you notice fraudulent activities, there are processes on how to deal with that. We have a judicial system, and we must trust that the system take its course. Stay within the rules.

But on the other hand, when your enemy (and make no mistake about it, the other side wants you dead, and that makes them the enemy) does not play by the rules, your side will eventually lose. The Lee Keltner murder -- may he rest in peace -- is an example of such. The moral high ground can really only get you too far. At some point, you'll have to get down, get dirty, and do things that you never thought you would have to do.

During the time of the Revolutionary War, there were "rules" as far as combat went. Combatants had to be in uniform. Battles had to be organized, with clear battle lines drawn. Guerrilla warfare and ambushes were highly frowned upon. Mixing in with civilians and using espionage and subterfuge was punishable by death. Yet, it was exactly those things that our forefathers did. They did it to win. Moral high ground be damned. They were in the fight of their lives. And now, so are we.

Perhaps it's time.
