True; ironically, Louis' overexpenditure in aiding the Americans is one of the primary reasons the French economy tanked so hard, creating the conditions of misery and poverty that ultimately sparked that revolution. (Louis hated the British and wanted to give them one in the eye.) Were it not for support from France, the American revolution would have likely failed, or at least turned out differently.

It seems evident to me that Abbott is quite concerned that his (continued) mismanagement of the power grid regulations will damage his and the GOP's electoral standing. He's pulling grandstand "conservative" moves (such as his "open up Texas" mandate which does nothing on a local level and should never have been implemented in the first place) in order to placate the plebs, whom he and his cronies perceive as stupid.

The vast majority of music I hear in public and in advertising is thirty to almost sixty years old. I don't know if I could name a band that debuted in the '90's. The only song I remember that I think came out during that era was the Macarena, which I remember most for making Al Gore look (even) stupid(er).

I worked in broadcast television for twenty years. I think that the first video, showing Biden's hand superimposed over the microphones, is digitally modified to create that effect. The edges of his hand and arm seem too sharp. However, I don't think this exposes Biden's appearance as "fake"; it's too clumsily done for that. I think this is some stupid editor's idea of a joke to rile Q-style conspiracies.
