Likewise an ectopic pregnancy has zero chance of survival and 100% chance of maternal death is not considered an abortion. It is highly unlikely that a Catholic hospital denied this procedure, as there is nothing morally or ethically wrong with removing a dead fetus.

I'm a RN. Had a surgical patient last week with uncontrolled hypertension, hyperlipidemia, type 2 diabetes, obesity, and hyperparathyroidism among other lesser pathologies. 3 weeks prior to surgery he tested positive for Covid in the pre-surgical screening process. I looked through his chart to read up on his ICU stay but there wasn't anything. He was literally asymptomatic but for a small cough, and hung out at home for a few weeks. I know Covid is scare tactics, but this case takes the cake. Our hospital is pretty much shut down waiting for the Covid surge that will never happen. We get daily updates on the Covid patient census and the highest it got was 9 patients, with 3 in ICU.
The whole thing is a load of garbage. More people will die from crashing the economy than the mild respiratory disease aka Wuhan Virus. Old People who are already nearing death will check out a year early. Big deal. This is 100% deep state/swamp/fakeNewsMedia trying to make Trump's re-election not happen by destroying the economy.
Not true. Direct federal funding only accounts for 2% of NPR funding, but indirect funding for 30%. If the feds give money to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting who in return give it to NPR, the money is still from the feds. Ditto for funding from universities to NPR. If it really was only 2% they would refuse funding and cut a little fat to eliminate the noise regarding their publicly funded partisanship.
NPR would simply not exist without government funding.
