As a member of this community for almost 5 years, I'm shocked by the lack of anything resembling compassion from most of these posts. Texans have always shown compassion towards other parts of the country that were experiencing disasters and tragedies.

Who said they have electricity for their mobile phone? Are you that dumb that you can't read - I guess so.

And how do you boil it when you don't have power and have run out of wood for the fireplace?

Calm down? Are you serious? What is wrong with you? People need water because their pipes have been frozen since Sunday morning - yes it will thaw out by Saturday, but tell that to my 5 year year niece who is in fucking hell because they don't have water, there is no water at the grocery stores and the news is telling everyone to boil water but there is no power to boil water if you had any.

Excuse me - the governor has asked for federal aid.

They are getting more blatant every year - less afraid to pull it off. The state's pretty good about prosecuting the offenders but sometimes it feels like sticking a finger in the damn.

Don't forget that these older congressional reps all have young staff members that feed them what they want to. I know a filthy rich guy in Houston who claims to be friends with someone on staff for an older rep and this staff member is no friend to the rep they work for. I know this is a bunch of I have a friend who has a friend who knows someone, etc. etc., I'm just saying that there are a lot of broken links in the chains....

Same song - ten thousandth verse. No one who could have made a difference did. We all saw enough proof of fraud as early as November 4th but it obviously didn't matter and I'm afraid, will never matter again.

BIT here (Born in Texas). Texas will never succeed - forget it. To me, one little part of the path forward is to form a group of us that study the election laws of each of these contested states to become experts in their procurement rules (how the hell did these machines get so widely used when it was evident to Texas that they were a clear path to fraud?) and how often they are required to rebid their election systems. I believe most states require their procurement of such systems to be open enough that we might be able to make a difference her.

There is a footnote at the bottom of the Tx DSHS dashboard that says that probable cases are not included in the case counts. I would like to see the raw data reported by the county health officials because there is probably confusion and lack of consistency in how cases are being reported.
