I tried to confirm the results, but unfortunately it turns out that Biden has more vote loss than trump (at least for the two states I looked at, PA and MI). I don't know why vote counts would ever go down, clearly there is something wrong or something we don't understand about the data feed, and that should be investigated, but if anything the errors actually seem to favor Trump.
It looks like the OP didn't look at the vote drops that went against Biden, not sure why someone smart enough to write the code would make that mistake, so seems deliberate to me, perhaps trying to distract us from something useful, or just taking satisfaction in seeing this get tweeted by Trump.
I did my analysis on the .csv files that were posted earlier, so I'm relying on those being an accurate reflection of the original Edison data scraped from NYT.
