How can you be technical enough to have it, but not technical enough to know how to share it anony?

If you can find the software I would absofukinlutlely dig into it. But nobody is going to find the software...

I'm with ya. I would love to use my 'skills' in order to help out... but... this isn't some random org. Getting caught here would = federal pound town.

IMHO the title of this post should be something like - hey people are doing OSINT on Dominion - anyone have the balls to breach them and dump some stuff? That'd get less people jumping on it thinking it's something of substance, and more people making a call to action to find someone who gives zero facks enough to actually do it haha.

It's mostly spiderfoot... you could spin up a vps and start running it yourself https://www.spiderfoot.net/

Hold up broski mc broderson... how does it prove the voting machines are talking to eachother over the network?

Based on the output from the tweets, please circle, screenshot, and link the endpoints that believe are voting machines.

I'm sorry, but network security my ass.

The problem here with this is that all the non technical people are gonna jump on this because they think it's exciting and actually something of substance.

In reality it's just someone using spiderfoot for some OSINT. Now if this person goes and actually tries and hacks them he's going to be in the spotlight since he posted some 'recon' already...

Which means unless this person is utterly stupid, they're not going to do jack shit, which means everyone following this post will be hoping for something out of this - but nothing will come.

Yeah, I just responded to that thread in there. This is a step in the right direction but from what I can see here there is no data that's a bombshell, nor have they accessed any internal systems. Every org is going to have endpoints out on the internet.

I guess what I'm saying without saying here is that 'the someone has cased the joint' and the next step would be for a robber with the correct skillset to 'do a b&e.' I'm not going to publicly say someone should hack them - but if there was anything to be found that's what I would say would produce something effective lol.

So I responded in another thread where someone posted this link.... I'm not throwing shade at this person or anything but what I want to make clear from my professional opinion is that this doesn't mean that this person has breached their network. I've seen a few things being thrown around saying this was the smoking gun / this person has breached their systems.

What you're looking at is output from a tool(s) used to basically map out relationships between a target and other things. Just because they have endpoints on the internet doesn't mean they are voting machines, or API endpoints for voting data, etc.

This is usually the first step someone would take prior to doing anything... exciting...

That being said - anyone can use OSINT tools to try and corroborate theories. It'd be better if they used the output of this though to get a smoking gun directly from inside their infrastructure...

To be more blunt - If I were going to try and breach the systems of some entity this is where I would start to gather as much data as possible. Connected systems, endpoints on the internet, tools, software, code levels, network endpoints, it even appears that this tool is scraping any found emails and searching past breach databases in order to look for compromised passwords, etc.

Say you figure out xyz target is using wordpress to host their website. You see their website is hosted on some cloud providers platform. You look for vulnerabilities to the wordpress instance - maybe you somehow get root on that box. You then discover that this webserver is connected to the targets corporate network via a site to site vpn for some stupid reason. You then attempt to find something vulnerable from there, etc.

Sure - so what he or she is showing are various screenshots of different OSINT type tools used to map out relationships between data / targets. What they're doing would be the first step a security professional or hacker would use in order to build basically a database of relationships. From here, I guess what is done with this data would be where it could get interesting lol.

What this person is doing isn't wrong from the standpoint of starting somwhere... I mean from what it sounds like probably the best proof of wrong doing could be obtained from within the organization itself. That being said, in order to obtain any details that are I guess smoking gun worthy they'd need to be breached. But to be clear the screenshots aren't really proving anything nor is it proof that they've accessed anything. They're just showing relationships using tools, kind of building an analysis of the 'target.'

Yeah - the drive in's are bullshit.

IDC how many times people swear up and down they won't beep their horns. Someone's gonna be a dickwad and start honking like a jhole just for the tik tocks or whatever the fuck. It was too coordinated and obvious.

I've heard this shit so many times though...

I've watched the veritas videos since back when they first started coming, and you know what happens? NOTHING.

I'm losing faith by the minute here. Now I see that Biden is at 264 because they gave him WI & MI. What a fucking joke.

What the party can't get through their fucking heads is that if you drag someone through the mud over and over and over and over people eventually jump on the bandwagon to be part of the cool crowd. It's sorta like the bystander effect. I'm an R, but for just a sec think about the last 4 years from a D's perspective... has Trump really been that bad? No. Negative. Nadda. There have been presidents who've actually fucked shit up, had blood on their hands, etc.

With this bullshit election it doesn't even fucking matter if Trump ends up winning somehow. It's yet another 'example' that can be used to bandwagon the fucking sheep of this country into thing it's cool to hate on Trump. It's a win in the D's book regardless.

If the GOP would get their god damn shit together and start swinging some balls that'd be nice to see, but they don't give two fucks.... because why? This is an opportunity for them... These fuckers can't stand RINO's which they constantly label Trump as. They can save party face by leaving him out to dry. They're not understanding this isn't 1908 where everyone goes to church on Sunday and waits until their married at 16 to fuck.

FUCK! /rant

I'm pretty sure we've already won. As long as trump wins at least AZ, PA, or VA it's over.
