hahahha. (Laughing with you),
I'm USAFA, former officer, former civil servant, former defense contractor (slow learner). I realized it was a shit show, but didn't completely wake up till 2014 when we armed extremists and overthrew Libya and Ukraine, and were working on Syria.
Finally it clicked: Our foreign policy has little to do with protecting the country and serving the American people, the military is a puppet of the deep state, reeking havoc around the world mostly so certain people can garner power and wealth. My participation made me complicit.
yep. I moved out of Albuquerque 5 years ago. Sold a nice mid-sized 1950's 3 bdr 2 Ba house in the city on a small lot. Moved to the midwest, bought a house almost twice as big in good condition with a pool, 3 car garage, shop, barn, hay barn, tractor, utility vehicle, ponds, creek, pasture, forest, and fencing on 90 acres for almost exactly the same price.
In Albuquerque it took me 15 min and 5 stop lights to drive 6 blocks to walmart, here it takes me 15 min with no stop lights to drive 7 miles to walmart.
One of the best parts is the neighbors. Almost all of them garden and hunt, many have their own gun range, they have real world skills (welder, nurse, equipment operator, rancher, sawyer, etc). When the SHTF they are people that can and will help each other and have good skills.
Last year I bought a 3bdr 2 ba, in good shape, with no significant issues, in a decent part of town for $32k. I spent a day doing minor repairs, and then rented it out for $600/month. Plenty of good houses in small towns in the mid-west that young people can afford.
But yeah, if you pick an unaffordable place to live, the houses will be unaffordable. Your choice...
Wrong. Individual owner occupants still have the majority of houses (~63%). Of the remaining 37% that are rentals around three quarters are owned by individuals.
Yep, far worse this time. They took Mortgage Backed Securities (MBS), which imploded in 2008 and invented Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities (CMBS) and did the same thing. Except now the bond market is also higher, government debt is far higher, corporate debt is far higher, the stock market was far higher, and the housing market is higher. Meanwhile rates are rising and the US is going into a recession...
Good first step, but it is not like making Ottawa tax payers foot the bill for government incompetence and malevolence solves anything. When government officials breaking the law they deserve twice the punishment, not no punishment.
I'm working on it. I'm emitting as much CO2 as I reasonably can to green the earth. doing my part to give back.

Yes they can. And Elon will be liable.
Better for the due dilligence period to occur. Elon to find fraud, which then gets published, twitter stock crashes, and Elon changes his price much lower.
If they refuse his much lower price he's still overturned twitter, if they accept his much lower price than he can proceed with his changes.
win-win
What happened to busloads going to No. VA. Should have ~500 buses per day every day. park at the border, pick them up, drive them to DC, drop off.
course I'd prefer a wall and defending the border with lethal force, but the alternative is better than this BS.
Every manufactured item that is a substitute for a natural process is inferior and should be eschewed. But when a crisis dictates, they can serve their purpose.
But when they tell you:
-Formula is better than breast milk
-margarine is better than butter
-seed oils are better than animal fats
-soy meat is better than real meat
-a vax is better than acquired immunity
-Cutting off your dick and taking hormones is better than fixing your mental illness
know that they are the enemy...
