How many times have we seen this. These articles are the drumbeats of war. In the lead up to going into Iraq we had the media pushing scary WMD stories, in the lead up to trying to overthrow Syria we had the media pushing a narrative.
The narrative is to get the public on board for the subsequent action. these stories are laying the ground work to demonize and then conduct war against conservatives. If you dig into the report https://csis-website-prod.s3.amazonaws.com/s3fs-public/publication/210412_Jones_Military_Police_Rise_of_Terrorism_United_States_1.pdf?
You find figure 4 which shows a sharp rise in terrorism in 2020 but no fatalities. Then when you look for the source for the number of right wing terrorist attacks you find one reference to a book by an SJW. The whole thing is a made up narrative by what they choose to count and not count.
Calling common conservatives terrorists also serves a legal purpose. It meets the criteria for US citizens to be target by intelligence assets (satellites, drones, NSA database).
They are different types of data, he isn't smoothing things. One is registration data, which tends to be messy, the population data is from the 2010 census. County data shows the population has decreased since the 2010 census.
You seem triggered for some reason. why?
They probably won't take them, they will twist arms till most comply. As more of the economy is controlled by the Fed/Oligarch facist system I expect they will start denying benefits and services for those who haven't followed their dictates.
It is something a single young man can ignore, but as inflation takes off and jobs keep going to shit families will find it really hard to not comply (turn in guns, vaccinate, kneel to the throne, etc) to get the steady stream of handouts.
How many times have we seen the deep state make bullshit allegations to deflect from what they are doing? There wasn't any investigation, they were just claims made to deflect criticism.
that said, if those claims were correct and that justified killing everyone, then DC should be nuked to glass.
There were people in northern idaho upset over californians moving in in the late 70's. People would see CA plates on a car in the parking lot and wait there for the person to come out so they could tell them to leave the state.
Unfortunately it didn't stick. I tried to move back home after leaving the military and a career I had 25 years of savings and found I couldn't afford a farm in Idaho. Prices were bid up to outrageous levels
Benford's law can be an accurate indication of fraud for datasets that meet certain criteria, two of these being that the data spans many order of magnitude and that the data is not structured by some external process. Voter districts are planned by election commissions to service a certain range of number of voters. This structuring makes Benford's law a very poor test for fraud with a high percent of false positive and false negatives. Similarly counties have some structuring based on population size. I posted on it here.

IMO it is such a bad fit it was likely first proposed as disinformation to get people to promote a vote fraud claim that can be easily debunked to discredit statements about actual fraud.
You can add in FBI, Intelligence community, pentagon, international corporations, and big pharma.
