Clearly there was an uneven amount of people representing in the counting of ballots. Save up your vacation days or whatever you have to do to be there to help count.
I originally made a few replies on a post about the man who was allegedly kicked off for a Trump mask...
First off, I'm a flight attendant. I do NOT work for Southwest.
I looooathe having to do extra paperwork. PLEASE PLEASE do not assume that all of us are seeking out reasons to kick off people. I hate having to find a computer while I'm in a hotel to type out what happened and why when I have had to kick people off for being intoxicated/belligerent.
There have been times where passengers have been trying to get around wearing a mask by slowly eating or drinking. That is, they will take itty bitty bites/sips. Hur hur, I aM dRiNkiNg aNd EaTiNG lolz. Please don't do this. I will not respect you for sticking it to the Man/Libs/whatever by violating the policy of a private company. You can vote with your wallet and ballot.
I did not want to believe he was guilty of willfully disobeying crew members. I have some FA friends I have muted on social media because of their TDS postings. HOWEVER It did not help his case that while the FA is talking to him about removing him that he kept his mask off.
It's really annoying to have to be put in a damned if you do or don't position. You could have a Karen passenger reporting the FAs for NOT enforcing the masking policy.
Now airline safety protocols are pretty much standard. Every time there is an accident or incident, we have 24 hours to write a report. We are instructed to not ever speak to journalists/media. Keeping that in mind, I waited to look up any sort of Southwest statement.
I got this: https://liveandletsfly.com/southwest-airlines-trump-mask/
TL;DR
He was asked multiple times since boarding to put his mask on by multiple FAs. In the video it seems like it was during boarding that he was ejected. They actually returned back to the gate from taxiing. The blogger made some points I mentioned before and some additional ones I didn't notice initially. I highly recommend reading it.
My own 2 cents:
Willfully disobeying crew member instructions to the point that the plane is delayed/returned to gate is the EXACT SAME THING as blocking traffic on a highway. When you buy a ticket, check into a flight, board, sit in your seat, etc you agree and are reminded each time to keep your mask on.
You are putting other people's lives on hold. You have no idea why other people are traveling. There are funerals, weddings, births, once in a lifetime trips.

It seems that the flight was only delayed 35 minutes. That is enough for people to miss connections especially if they are wrangling small children.
Please don't be that guy.
Let's not be the people that jump with glee when a rioter gets pwned while ignoring bad behavior of our fellow supporters.
Black Lives Matter AND All Lives Matter
OBVIOUSLY! It goes without saying.
This is what I've noticed.
The movement of Black Lives Matter seems to ignore the black crime rate especially the black on black murder rate. It ignores the sad cultural phenomenon of crabs in a bucket. (i.e. bringing down people who are "acting white"). It doesn't call out people who call people Uncle Toms or race traitors.
Declaring All Lives Matter ignores the actual generational curse that was inflicted on Black Americans. It dismisses the welfare cliff. It ignores the laws that have actually hurt the Black population.
All Black Lives Matter addresses both sides. It is horrifies at both the death (execution) of George Floyd AND David Dorn. It addresses the issues the fact that HALF of Black women pregnancy ends in abortion. It denounces the political plantation. It calls for criminal justice reform. It includes Black Lives outside of America.
In a discussion with a friend of mine who is FOR voting without ID, I came to a realization of what needs to be done about the push for no ID voting.
In Thailand, there are indigenous groups through no fault of their own due to not having birthright citizenship are not able to get Thai citizenship EVEN THOUGH they lived in Thailand all their lives. My favorite charity, International Justice Mission works with the Thai government and these peoples in order to help streamline the process of gaining citizenship. The peoples are then able to get jobs that pay better and contribute to tax revenue. It's win-win all around.
Growing up, my parents have been pretty involved in politics. I remember my Dad volunteering on election days in different ways. One of which was driving eldery voters to the polls.
So my proposal is to push people into volunteering to assist people who are having difficulty in getting IDs into helping them.
It could look something like offering free babysitting so single moms are able to spend the day getting their ID. Driving people to the DMV or whatever State office. Setting up a fund for wages lost for the time spent getting their ID.
Make sure to keep your spending habits as normal as possible.
For the things you can't do now like travel and dining, there are gift cards! Think of it as an investment into America.
Let's Keep America Going!
My Based Dad picks my daughter and I up to my hometown sometimes for visits. We cross the new TZ bridge every time.
Dad: Isn't this bridge great?
Me: Yep! It's a shame about the name...
Dad: Yeah... I refuse to call it that..
