IME its a combination of things... you DO have a certain % that have been a part of the welfare state for generations and know nothing else. Are they casting the vote or are others casting it for them? Can't tell you. You have another large % that will lie to your face about who they voted for because they don't want to get "uncle tom'd". Many in Detroit are union city workers so its less black and more the scam union but I'll tell you, Ironworkers union, UAW, etc... everyone but the teachers and municipal workers broke rank this year. I can pinpoint high end suburbs where CLEARLY dems have cheated into power. However, it also seems that, other than the Sikhs, the heavy Indian population in certain spots seems to vote left. They do it quietly. No signs, no talk. Not sure why... When an Indian runs the white dems won't vote for them but the Indians don't seem to notice the overt racism tied into that.

The black community in Detroit has seen enough of rioting and such to buy into the BLM crap. There is no black white chasm here as the media would have you believe. Blacks generally kill blacks. whites generally kill whites. People from the suburbs know not to go looking for problems or an opportunist of any color may get ya. Everyone in SE MI is a little more street smart than say, Seattle/Kirkland. And Detroiters are a little more suburb smart. I work with a LOT of black people... Trump had a LOT of votes coming out of Detroit. this is ALL bullshit and everyone knows it. And we now all know how Gretchen got into power. Everyone hates her. The biggest sin in Detroit is probably electing people based on skin color alone then ignoring when they fail or having the expectation that corruption is normal as it has run so deeply in Detroit. It is believed the weighting occurs AFTER the County agregates but this, in my head, is almost the same as a hand recount that wont come anytime soon. These clerks have no reason to "be in on it".

It is believed the variance occurs when the county transmits to the state. So the clerks see the correct whole number, the county agrees THEN the weighting occurs. However there are enough votes in Oakland and Shiva picked it for a reason, to tell if the state totals are off? this avoids the delay in hand recounts for now in my head.
