Furthermore, the notion that we are “nation of immigrants” is flatly false. We are and have always been a nation of settlers and pioneers. 99% of our population until 1960, were grown here by a relatively small population of original settlers. Until that time only 1% of America were “immigrants”. Please educate yourself on American immigration policy at all times prior to 1965: limited, western, quotas, meritorious, consanguinity, language, culture, etc. we always have and always will have room for the foreigner and traveler, and will afford them equal protection under our laws in accordance with their natural human rights, but it should be nearly impossible for them to naturalize, and if possible, it takes GENERATIONS
I do not misunderstand. I have a classical historical view, informed by 4000+ years of western practice that I wish to conserve. You have a view of multiculturalism informed by 200 years (tops) of progressive (communist) policy, largely Impractical, and where tested, a failure, in every nation that has applied them.

It is impossible to naturalize people separated from our common heritage by thousands of years. America (or any nation) is not designed to operate with citizens from diverse ethnic, religious, linguistic, and non-western backgrounds.
