Just be aware that Rand's definition of selfishness is something completely different that the normal one. Her definition is more akin to having integrity and not betraying ones principles, while the normal definition is more like stealing and living of the backs of others, having no principles. Thus, her definition of altruism is also off, as she views it as the opposite of having integrity, instead of the true desire to reflect the love one has been given out into the world. Her point is completely valid though, and her books shed insight into what drives the swamp.
I will try not to judge. He does what he does. End of story. Everybody betrays 'Christianity' every day. There is nothing anyone can do to add or take away from his merits before God's unconditional love. Only judging and hating and calculating can keep anyone from the kingdom, which is here right now among us. No one knows the heart of another, nor how God uses him. No one is good but God.
It's a trap. I think this was the plan all along. Make the president someone who would be attempted taken out by the republicans immediately. If it fails, the democrats look better on the news, if it succeeds, they get Kamala as president. I suspect most Democrats will jump on the opportunity to throw Biden out.
Hmm, That made me think. Perhaps Trumps plan is to simply not be the unifying principle of the establishment. Perhaps Trump actually understands "resist not evil" as the tactic that won over the entire Roman Empire once.
As long as you are violent you win the hearts and minds of the state and the media. That is what they do. If you make people actually scared, you are on their side. Even if you kill random, preferably black police, they love you even more. But, dare to be mostly peaceful, to enter the place where the elites sit, and everyone hates you.
What could he constitutionally have done? He has to hear objections and he has to count the vote. If he didn't care about following it, he could try to refuse counting. But him on his own trying to 'send back the certificates' would simply not happen. It would perhaps cause a short delay as they would argue the point, but then everyone else would just continue with the process of going through the rest of states certificates. The crazy thing is that Trump tweeted that he could. I cannot figure out what the plan would be. My guess it that he never planned for Pence to actually do that, but rather to have everyone riled up about it, and then get angry when he didn't do it. Trumps plan is something entirely different.
What is it he could have done according to the law? I mean he can do what ever he wants, but in order for other people to recognise it it must follow the constitution. Please inform me of what that is. I really want to see it, because Trump can't simply have made it up.
Why the hell didn't Trump stop this? How can you people laugh? This is terrible. Seditious! I call for impeachment of Trump and this hericane!
