That scene never fails to get me hyped
I actually met a few Americans who “escaped” here to Japan after the 2016 election. These people put zero effort into assimilating and constantly bitch when something is different than how it is in America. When things don’t work out at the only low-paying English teaching job they could get, they have no choice but to go back to the States and blame all their failures on “racist Japanese”.
I’ve met a lot of older Japanese who have a lot of praise for Trump mainly because of his stance on China. A lot of people were excited when he came to Tokyo. The American news outlets were criticizing Trump for awarding that giant trophy at a sumo tournament but the local media and most people here thought it was awesome.
His name is Naota Kobayashi and he's been spreading the good word about Trump all over Japan. Check out the Trump support site that he started.
As a former Lakers fan, if you told me at the beginning of the year that they would end up winning the championship I would've been fucking hyped! But now, today feels no different than any another day and I have nothing but resentment for Lebron. The guy cares only about his Instagram followers, not the real fans who actually bought his gear and paid out the ass for nosebleed seats to watch him play. Dude took the fans for granted so fuck him.
Ridiculous that they aren't calling multiple states with >90% votes counted when VA was called with much less.
